Big four Interview Questions

The Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC worldwide accounting networks comprise the world’s four most extensive professional services networks, collectively known as “The Big Four.” The four are grouped similarly to the remaining market portion regarding earnings and workforce. They can offer their clients a broad range of professional services. Also, those contemplating beginning careers in professional services, especially accounting, see them as similarly desirable connections to work in. The firms frequently work with Fortune 500 companies.

Basic questions

  1. What are your thoughts on multitasking?
  2. Tell me when you showed initiative.
  3. How do you manage tension at work?
  4. Which books have you read lately?
  5. What inspires you to work for this company?
  6. What one talent do you possess that perhaps the other applicants don’t?
  7. What one thing do you expect to bring to this company?
  8. What makes accounting appealing to you?
  9. Do you enjoy traveling?
  10. What is your preferred method for inspiring a team?

Theoretical Questions

  1. What are the top three abilities you think a client should possess?
  2. What makes accounting and auditing different from one another?
  3. Which accounting program do you favor using?
  4. What are your thoughts about the latest financial Accounting Standards Board guidelines revision?
  5. Describe a situation in which you disagreed with a client’s investment decisions and how you managed them.
  6. Can you provide evidence for which of the ten GAAP is the most crucial?
  7. How can you tell whether the financial data you obtain is accurate?
  8. How can the possibility of making mistakes in your job be reduced?
  9. What do you think of big data in terms of accounting?

Scenario-based questions

  1. What do you think about the present business environment?

  3. Tell us about a dispute you helped resolve and how?
  4. Tell us about when you helped your peers perform better and How?
  5. What was the time when you were forced to alter your strategy midway through an issue, and Why?
  6. What appeals to you most about working in public accounting?
  7. Do you have interviews with other companies?
  8. Discuss when you dealt with a challenging or angry client or customer.
