What is Cloud Computing?

Cloud computing is a platform that provides virtual services and products over the Internet. It also offers solutions to problems related to real-time industry or business issues. It ensures to provide security of the data. The services include networking, software, databases, analytics, and storage.

Cloud computing has three types of service model, which includes Software-as-a-service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a service (IaaS). These service models approach and satisfy demands and secure benefits through resources. Companies offering these kinds of cloud computing services are called cloud providers.

What is Traditional Computing?

Before the cloud came into existence, organizations used to store their data on servers and hard drives. Servers were a physical data center running a complete network system for daily operations. It consists of various pieces of hardware, such as desktops and hard drives, which are connected by a network. At the same time, cloud computing refers to a fully virtualized platform.

In this type of computing, individuals have to purchase additional hardware and upgrades to scale and support more users.

The provider’s support team serves cloud service.It requires a team to maintain and monitor the system, which will require a lot of time and effort.
