In IT technology, HP is looking for candidates who actively seek out new sales opportunities and sell to and build positive relationships. The group is in charge of leading outbound marketing campaigns and assisting with installed base calling initiatives. The representative works closely with internal and external HP consumers and teams to promote and sell HP products and solutions. The rep collaborates closely with management to drive marketing programs, lead qualification, demand generation, sales initiatives, demo development, support, and incremental revenue for inside sales. The aspirant has to perform various duties in this position, including expanding HP’s installed base’s wallet share through support and sales, meeting assigned product quotas, fostering client confidence in HP’s remote sales abilities, and advancing opportunities from qualification to closed won.
- Sells integrated or multi-product/service packages proactively to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Collaborates with channel partners to fulfill customer application needs while coordinating additional sales professionals.
- Extends sales team’s knowledge of market trends, customer equipment needs, and application requirements.
- Handles complex, non-routine issues and decides appropriately, usually on technical problems or services.
- The sole point of contact for an account may exist.
- Through managing and coordinating sales activities, collaborate with the sales team to develop and carry out account plans.
- Displays a depth and breadth of knowledge to position and map HP capabilities that align with the client’s business goals and initiatives.
- Aggressively investigates account activity to identify potential for upselling or new business.
- Manage leads and follow-up for campaigns.
- Accountable for the pipeline and forecast in line with the operations of the sales center.
Education and Experience
- Having a bachelor’s degree is a must.
- Vast knowledge of business consulting.
- Must have IT experience in managing any size of team.
- Must have hands-on practice in problem-solving.
- Be brilliant in verbal and soft skills.
- Must know how to interact with high-level executives.
- Be a good leader and promote teamwork.
- A plus is a certification or knowledge of an equivalent nature.
- Communication skills, both written and oral, that are clear.
- Without visual cues, the ability to successfully guide a customer through troubleshooting/resolution steps over the phone is a requirement.
