Cloud Computing is an online service that we can access through the Internet. It is like a Virtual Data Center that can be accessed from anywhere in the world.
The above picture shows us that we can store any data in the cloud.
Examples of Cloud Computing
For instance, we can think of Google’s Gmail. It is an excellent example of Cloud Computing. Gmail is a type of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) that provides software that we can use to send and receive emails, and all the data is stored in the virtual space.
Services Provided by Cloud Computing
The services provided by cloud computing are storage, compute power, memory, etc. Also, there are other services like SaaS (Software-as-a-Service), PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service), and IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service).
These are the three broad categories which are mentioned above. Knowing what the services offer and how they differ from each other makes it easier to manage and design a business.
Advantages of Cloud Computing
At this time, you are probably using cloud services in one way or another. Whether listening to music, making a website, storing pictures, or using any service, you are using cloud services even if you don’t realize it, but it all works behind the scenes.
So cloud has evolved a lot nowadays and has many advantages over traditional servers used in the past. Following are the major advantages of Cloud Computing:

Although we know that the cloud stores data and can retrieve it anytime via the Internet, this feature is enhanced by storing and backup options for our data. We do not have to worry if data or files are deleted or corrupted in the future because we all have a backup plan while using cloud services.

Scalability in the cloud refers to the increase and decrease of services or resources according to the swapping of demand. The system can accommodate changes. Thus it is an advantage for both low and high-level businesses.
3. Guaranteed Database Security
One of the features that all organization needs are the security of their precious data. The security features of the cloud are highly advanced, including the data is safely stored and handled efficiently. Some other features are granular permission and access management over unique roles, restricting access to sensitive data only to the required users, and reducing the attack area for attackers.
4. Rapid Speed Deployment
Cloud computing instances can be launched in just a few clicks and further reshape software development. Developers can quickly test new ideas and design application architecture without the dependency on on-site hardware limitations or slow procurement processes.
5. Mobility
Employees no longer need to wait for verified reports to work; they now have the flexibility of gaining online access to the data on their devices and may start working accordingly. These save time and team effort in maintaining the systems, tremendously reducing the IT team workloads.
Conclusion
Cloud Computing has a lot of benefits in every sector. The initial steps to starting a project or business are reduced with the help of cloud computing. The virtual setup, deployment of projects and communications globally is now possible. The storage of data and then managing the same has become easy.
